There’s a new jacket trend in town and it’s Kendall Jenner-approved (which means that everyone might soon be wearing it, given her sartorial influence). Jenner stepped out for dinner in New York the other night wearing the 2019 version of a leather jacket: a leather shacket. A jacket-shirt hybrid, shackets aren’t exactly new, per se, but as spring approaches, we can’t help but notice that leather and vegan leather versions of the oversized style are becoming a thing. We’ve spotted both high and low versions of the trend on the market, and strongly support investing in it, as it’s actually the perfect transitional piece to ease into spring with.
