Japanese brand KAPITAL just dropped its take on this year’s snakeskin footwear trend in the form of slip-ons. Adding a casual silhouette to the string of more athletic snakeskin print sneakers seen throughout the year, the slip-ons are designed for easy comfortable wear, both indoors and outdoors.
The pair’s upper is made from a synthetic leather material covered in a carefully placed black and white python print. Wrapping around the heel is a yellow suede patch featuring KAPITAL’s reoccurring smiley face motif, slightly cut off by the sole. A touch of red detailing extended from the insole adds an elevated touch to the playful shoe, while black synthetic leather around the vamp ties everything together. Finally, a black suede mudguard complements its neighboring black cushioned sole.
The snake print smiley slip-ons are currently available on KAPITAL’s site for ¥19,244 JPY (approximately $182 USD).
Most recently KAPITAL released bandana-printed patchwork baseball caps, which also show off its signature smiley face.
