The Geto Boys are going on tour. The trio announce their ‘The Beginning of a Long Goodbye: The Final Farewell’ tour, following Bushwick Bill’s diagnosis of stage four pancreatic cancer. The shows will feature Scarface, Bushwick Bill, and Willie D together and a portion of the proceeds will support pancreatic cancer awareness, according to the group’s website. You can check out the tour stops below.
It was reported last week that the Geto Boys co-founder received a diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer in February. He’s currently undergoing intensive chemotherapy. For Bill, the diagnosis came as a surprise because doctors had told him the mass on his pancreas was benign. His plan is to release three new albums, a documentary, and a book.
Last year, Geto Boys‘ former DJ and producer Ready Red passed away.
