Except they make money off of it, while we’re spending our paychecks on small luxuries to keep the void momentarily at bay!

Celebrity: John Legend
“I know my fans love to enjoy my music with wine,” Mr. Chrissy Teigen told Wine Spectator when he launched his Legend Vineyard Exclusives line in 2015. For summer drinking (maybe at Legend’s upcoming Hollywood Bowl show, say), try the LVE Côtes de Provence Rosé ($25), which looks just as smooth and classy as you’d want it to be. Barrymore by Carmel Road Rosé of Pinot Noir
Celebrity: Drew Barrymore
Actress Drew Barrymore has been expanding her brand in recent years, rolling out collections of clothing and furniture, so why not also make wine? Barrymore collabs with winemaker Kris Kato and Carmel Road for her range, all grown in Monterey, California. In a video Barrymore posted talking up Barrymore by Carmel Road Rosé of Pinot Noir ($17.99), she got right to the heart of what matters in winemaking: “I think a rosé should have that inherently Pavlovian-to-women peachy-pink quality that just draws us in,” she says. “I don’t know what it is about us girls, but we love pink.”
The Dreaming Tree Rosé
Celebrity: Dave Matthews
We would probably have pegged Dave Matthews as more of a craft beer dude, but he’s been collaborating with award-winning winemaker Steve Reeder since 2011, and owns estates in both Virginia wine country and Geyserville, California. His Dreaming Tree 2018 California Rosé ($15) is a light-bodied offering with strong tropical notes. “Our rosé is good for everybody earlier in the day,” Matthews says. “And just fine for anybody in the middle of the day, and most everybody can enjoy it in the evening.” Um. Sure.
Miraval Côtes de Provence Rosé
Celebrity: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt
The most widely available celebrosé, you can probably find Miraval Côtes de Provence Rosé ($21.99) at your local supermarket, which we certainly appreciate. And the rosé comes from actual France, which means it’s extra fancy. However, it is also tainted by the tabloid-fodder that is the failed Pitt-Jolie union, so perhaps best reserved for drinking when your summer fling reaches its inevitable, messy conclusion.
Three by Wade California Rosé
Celebrity: Dwayne Wade
While LeBron James might be known as the all-star of NBA wine-snobs, his buddy Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade is no slouch. James and Wade have been known to go pretty hard on a Napa trip–and after one such getaway, Wade decided to get into the biz himself, teaming up with Napa vintner Jayson Pahlmeyer for the Wade Cellars label. The Three by Wade California Rosé ($15) is a fruity, strawberry-scented wine, ideal for your own off-season.
Hampton Water
Celebrity: Jon Bon Jovi and his son, Jesse Bongiovi
Yes, the Hamptons are overrated (it’s just Long Island, after all). Nonetheless, some people, like the Bon Jovi/Bongiovi clan, like that sort of thing, and we’ll let them have it, because the last thing L.A. needs is more New Jersey-ites moving here seeking better beaches. Anyway, Hampton Water ($24.99) is fun wine, straight from the south of France, and you can get it at Umami burger as part of a collab that raises money for the family’s charity foundation, thus making drinking it your good deed for the day. Win-win.
#Collection Wines by Gia Coppola #OverIt Rosé
Celebrity: Gia Coppola
You’re surely familiar with the Francis Ford Coppola Winery, and perhaps even the Sofia label he created for his movie-directing daughter (which features its own still and sparking rosé offerings in both bottles and those annoyingly adorable tiny cans) but the #Collection Wines by Gia Coppola are a newer addition to the family tree (vine?). According to the company’s website, Carly Rae Jepsen video director Gia’s wines are for the “hashtag generation,” which explains the name of the #OverIt Rosé ($20). #RoseAllDay is indeed a hashtag, but “hashtag generation”? Really?
