Shortly after launching its latest Star Wars collaboration, UNIQLO has tapped Nepenthes label Engineered Garments to reimagine the classic polo shirt.
Part of the Japanese fashion purveyor’s LifeWear line, the capsule features an array of patchwork style polos which mesh designer Daiki Suzuki‘s progressive vision with UNIQLO’s signature aesthetic. Comprised of four styles done in an array of colors, Suzuki paired differing stripe, polka dot, camo, fern prints to create off-kilter looks that reference classic pattern designs associated with Americana styling. Rounding up the range is a selection of contrast sleeve and monochromatic polo shirts which highlight the tailoring choices made by Engineered Garments.
The Engineered Garments x UNIQLO Polo Shirt capsule is set to release at select UNIQLO locations May 27, head over to uniqlo.com to learn more about the collaboration.
