This morning, the brand’s body line, Inamorata Women, unveiled a groundbreaking new collection of versatile bodysuits made specifically with every woman in mind. "Women can spend their whole lives in a bodysuit," Emily Ratajkowski told Refinery29. "We start wearing bodysuits as babies and […can style them] well into our 70s. They really are for all women, of every age."
To prove it, Ratajkowski gathered a cast of women, aged 2 to 70, including model Ebonee Davis, actress and HIV/AIDs activist Judith Light, to model her new collection in whatever way felt right to them. The result? A stunning photo shoot that proves no matter your size, age, or body type, a bodysuit can make every woman look and feel their absolute best.

"Bodysuits carry us through life," Ratajkowski said. "Of course, while they can be thought of as basics, it was super important to me to have ours be chic and well-fitting. I thought about the type of bodysuits I wanted in my closet and got to drawing. This collection is the result."

When asked about ageism in fashion and society at large, EmRata didn’t hold back. "All the rules were made up by jerks," she asserted. "So to hell with the rules. Take chances, and just worry about making yourself feel like you’re Beyoncé in Homecoming." Indeed.

As for styling the collection beyond just the basics, Ratajkowski suggests layering the rompers "under a colorful blazer or with an oversized bomber."
"The bodysuits I love as we styled them in the campaign on me — with oversized pants that come in at the waist."

While she loves every piece from the new collection, Ratajkowski told us that she’s partial to the romper tank with the back cut out. "It’s insanely comfortable and looks so good with a slide heel and a big earring. I also love to throw an oversized belt on it! "

"I think it’s always wise to dress to what is classic, long-term, and elegant. In other words, not necessarily following trends," actress, activist and Inamorata Women model Judith Light told Refinery29. "It’s always valuable and essential to be one’s self — only then you will know intuitively how to dress. It won’t be based on your age, it will be based on your ownership of yourself."

"Ageism is happening less and less as those of us who are more mature start to own our age, our beauty, and the authenticity of who we are," says Light.

"The bodysuit is one of the singularly most important garments to have in one’s wardrobe," the 70 year-old actress continued. "It is timeless, it is ageless: the bodysuit conforms to anyone’s body type and looks beautiful. It is, hands down, the most versatile piece of clothing that I own and I wouldn’t want to be without it in my wardrobe."
