Coca-Cola x KITH Return with a Hawaiian-Themed Collaboration

One year after Ronnie Fieg‘s last collection with the soft drink giant, Coca-Cola x KITH are back with another collaboration. Ronnie started teasing the collection on his Instagram four days ago with a sandy beach emblazoned with the Coca-Cola and KITH logo followed by older iterations of the collaboration’s bottles and cans from previous years. Finally, after days of teasing, Ronnie Fieg gives us a first look at this year’s collection.

The new range consists of four color-blocked pieces – a crewneck sweater, a hoodie, a short-sleeve polo shirt and a long-sleeve polo shirt. All the items of the forthcoming collection feature a patchwork pattern with the signature Coca-Cola red color paired with muted and pastel shades of blue, pink, yellow, orange, brown and white, as well as Coca-Cola and KITH branding.

Following a Hawaiian theme, the collection will launch alongside two offline events – a surf video competition and a pop-up store. According to a post on KITH’s Instagram, the brand will be choosing three surfer and video teams to participate in the competition taking place on July 30 in Oahu, Hawaii. The pop-up store will be opening in Honolulu, Hawaii, where the collection will be available one week earlier than the rest of the launch. You can shop the collaboration at the pop-up store starting August 2 and at KITH stores and online for the worldwide release on August 9.

Everyone that knows me knows my obsession with Coca Cola. I have been collecting Coke products and books for over 20 years. When starting to work on hospitable moments in 2013, I was always interested in seeing where I would take the project if I had a chance to work with the brand. I was so happy when I got the call to work on the first project, I’ll never forget that feeling. I remember telling my team that I felt it was the first major milestone for Kith. All I kept thinking was who didn’t love Coca Cola? Who didn’t love the polar bear commercials in the 90’s? They used to play those spots in the theaters holiday time before Christmas and they literally made everyone smile. That was the inspiration behind the first collection and I wanted to release it in Aspen. After seeing the success of that trip and pop up space, the next two collections released in East Hampton and then last summer in Malibu. Some of the best times I have ever had since starting Kith in 2011. These moments are created out of the love for the product we produce and wanting to celebrate it’s release. This summer we celebrate in Hawaii. Can’t wait to show you. It’s the real thing.

Traveling across the country with Coca-Cola over the last four years has taken us from Miami to Aspen to the Hamptons to Malibu before finding our newest home in Hawaii. This year is different though. Not only am I bringing my friends and family with me to Hawaii next week, we’re also opening a pop-up shop in Honolulu to give the people of Hawaii a first-hand experience of our brand. I’m excited to officially announce the Kith x Coca-Cola Hawaii Shop opens next Friday, August 2nd, in the Royal Hawaiian Center in Waikiki. The address is 2201 Kalākaua Ave, Honolulu. The full collection will release at this shop 1-week early. My team and I will be there. I’m looking forward to meeting you all there and creating a lasting memory together.
