One month after releasing Diplo’s official remix of "Letting People Go," Carnage is teaming up with G-Eazy and Wiz Khalifa for another high-profile single, "Wait For Me." The aforementioned trio’s new collaboration is brought to life via a psychedelically-tinged visualizer, which helps put a tripped-out twist on the summer single.
"’m ready to make my next step into changing music forever … and to everyone that has helped me get to this point I wanna thank you for taking risks," Carnage shared in a recent statement posted to Instagram, revealing his plans for the next stage of his career. "Thank you @atrak for allowing me to mix chicago drill music and festival trap.. thank you @borgore for having my back when I wanted to make big room when everyone wanted me to just make trap music.. thank you @tiesto for allowing me to bring hard house to the mainstream with “Krakatoa” thank you @erickmorillo for putting your respect on the line and having my back when you learned my passion for tech house in 2014.. we then released “let the freak out” thank you Erick. Thank you @coachk44 for trusting in my vision…everyone has followed our formula since… we changed music forever when we dropped “bricks” with my brothers @migos I feel like we tore down a huge wall with that record. Thank you @timmytrumpet for trusting my crazy ideas…. I remember the day I told you we should make psy trance… you knew we were gonna get some heat from it.. but you had my back… and we did get hella shit for it.. but I didn’t care … I knew it was the right thing to do and you supported me.. and now 3 years later you hear psy trance in almost every main stage around the world… it was because YOU gave me a chance TIMMY… what I want you guys to take from this is…. take risk… take chances… don’t build your life around other people’s opinion… especially if it’s negative… do what makes you happy.. you won’t know if your right or wrong until you take that chance.. and here we are.. 2019."
