Experimental label BYBORRE has revealed the lookbook for its latest seasonal Spring/Summer 2020 range, entitled “The Layered Edition™.” The new collection, currently being shown at Paris Fashion Week, BYBORRE’s latest collection marks the introduction of the TDK, short for Textile Development Knit™. The new textile seeks to jettison against the industry at large and leads the way in textile development and practice. Meticulously pieced together by atelier hands, TDK maintains the brand’s utilization of color and ingenuity, employing core principles of sustainability and usability.
The newest Textile Development Knit™ maintains the imprint’s core principles of function, feel, visual aesthetics, and footprint. In partnership with The Woolmark Company, the brand has also developed the AO2™ textile (Attachment Only 2 layer), which harbors breathability through a reversible two-layered knit. The nine-piece Merin capsule, inline with Woolmark, employs a True Color design principle, with fabrics rendered using a combination of raw Merino wool, Coolmax yarn, and NILIT Heat. Notable pieces include a variety of BYBORRE’s drop-crotch pants, uniquely-paneled knit outerwear, mid-layers, and more.
