BTS has officially revealed the first video for its upcoming album, Map of the Soul: Persona. For this preliminary glimpse into the group’s new music RM energetically raps throughout the exclusive clip alone. According to a previous press release, the new album is slated to drop ahead of the group’s upcoming Love Yourself: Speak Yourself tour.
In the video for the three-minute-long song "Persona" RM is shown in a variety of different outfits. He begins the teaser in a classroom and is then seen alongside bold graphics. In one memorable portion of the visual, he’s seen in a hoodie created with fluorescent highlighter hues worn with baggy pants and bright yellow sneakers.
In typical BTS fashion, each member is set to be a part of their own trailer leading up to the release of the new album. If you listen closely you’ll be able to make out the catchy chorus:
"Who the hell am I, I just wanna go/ I just wanna fly, I just wanna give you all the voices till I die/ I just wanna give you all the shoulders when you cry/ Persona."
BTS’ new album Map of the Soul: Persona will be available on April 12. Take a look at the trailer in the gallery above.
