If a more contemporary look is what you’re searching for, this one-bedroom in West Adams has been totally redone, and features fancy kitchen counters and cabinets, stainless steel appliances, recessed LED lights, and in-unit laundry—all just a few blocks from the Expo/Crenshaw station on the Expo Line. It rents for $1,795.

The listing for this West Hollywood one-bedroom doesn’t give the apartment’s exact location, but it’s in the vicinity of La Brea and Santa Monica. The apartment features a lively mishmash of buzzwordy details: decorative moldings, colorful tile in the kitchen, granite counters—it’s all here! The apartment is close to tons of Santa Monica Bouelvard destinations and offers parking for an extra $100 a month. It rents for $1,850, not including that parking spot.
