At VOICES, Business of Fashion‘s annual gathering for big thinkers held at the end of November, speakers and guests gathered to address the question: What can the fashion industry do to be more inclusive? Several participants agreed that real change can only happen when diverse decision makers and executives are allowed to enter the highest levels of the industry. Claire Rothstein, photographer and founder of the magazine Girls Girls Girls, shared a behind-the-scenes picture from a recent photoshoot with Rachel McAdams to Instagram on Wednesday. The snap shows the actress pumping breast milk while wearing Versace and Bulgari diamonds. “Breastfeeding is the most normal thing in the world and I can’t for the life of me imagine why or how it is ever frowned upon or scared of,” Rothstein wrote in the caption. “I don’t even think it needs explaining but just wanted to put this out there, as if it even changes one person’s perception of something so natural, so normal, so amazing then that’s great.” {@clairerothstein/Instagram}
