Eater LA is delighted to announce a new live event series. Instagram — and how it’s changing dining culture — is the subject of the first panel discussion at the Ace Hotel. From the clickbait food to the flower wall, social media has ushered in a celebration of sameness, and a flood of free marketing.

How has your feed changed the way chefs and owners design their spaces and menus? What kind of food garners clicks, and can you really experience a dish if you’re snapping away? How has customer behavior changed since Instagram? And perhaps most importantly, is the free publicity worth it when it means a dining room full of camera phones? We’ll tackle these questions and more with key members of the LA restaurant scene.
