The Chargers are traveling across the country to take on the Ravens in an AFC Wild Card matchup. In a rematch from Week 16’s loss to Baltimore. Los Angeles is eager to bounce back and continue their run to Super Bowl LIII.
Here are three pregame storylines surrounding the Bolts heading into Sunday’s game:
No. 1 | Can the Chargers slow down the pressure?

This has been the theme for quite sometime now. It won’t get any easier going up against the No. 1 defense, one who absolutely overwhelmed Los Angeles’ offensive line just two weeks ago.
The offensive line has regressed significantly in the second half of the season. Left guard Dan Feeney has allowed eight sacks and eight more hits, while right tackle Sam Tevi has given up eight sacks and 12 hits, according to Pro Football Focus.
Baltimore has a pass rush, led by Za’Darius Smith with 8.5 sacks. He’s followed closely by Terrell Suggs and Matthew Judon. Philip Rivers is very familiar with these players, along with those on the interior part of their defensive line.
Just like in Week 16, the game will be won or lost in the trenches.
