Following its previous collaboration with Discovery, Vans has returned with two asymmetrical sneakers atop a fresh bed of waffle soles. Presented is the Vans BESS NI, a ’90s classic that the Japanese retailer BILLY’s has reworked.
Dubbed "Orange Pop/Knockout Pink" and "Navy/Stv Navy," these particular renditions are decorated with white checkers over duo-toned color schemes. The former is decked with bright orange hues on the lateral sides. Vans’ classic side stripe is stitched over the checkers, while the toe box and medial sides come in a bold palette of red. The "Navy/Stv Navy" colorway sees the same design pattern, except in complementing shades of navy. As finishing notes, white laces, an embroidered logo at the tongue and a crisp midsole round up the details of the asymmetrical silhouette.
The Vans BESS NI "Orange Pop/Knockout Pink" and "Navy/Stv Navy" are exclusively available at billys-tokyo.net for $99 USD.
Elsewhere, Mikio Sakabe’s GIDDY UP sneaker line is now online.
