Balenciaga has dropped a trio of smartphone holder bags in its stores worldwide as part of its Fall/Winter 2019 collection. The Demna Gvasalia-designed piece is available in black, white and grey, each sporting a contrasting stamped "retail packaging" logo.
The miniature oblong tote bag is large enough to fit any phone despite being Balenciaga’s most compact bag offering to date. It was designed after the label’s signature slate grey shopping bags and is made from luxurious calfskin leather. The bag features a detachable crossbody strap and small, round calfskin handles which mimic those seen on the paper bags used in the stores.
To keep in tune with the paper bag theme, Balenciaga added a flat bottom and creased sides that fold just like the shopping bags. All three bags can be purchased now from Balenciaga boutiques worldwide and online for $950 USD.
