Tokyo-based brand BAL unveils its latest Fall/Winter 2019 collection, staying true to the brand’s playful approach to seasonal collections. Named "Chance Operation," the most recent offering is inspired by the late composer John Cage, one of the leading figures of the post-war avant-garde.
Shot in front of a green screen, the experimental lookbook plays on the various elements of the world as a contrast to the hyper-functional garments. Notable pieces include original patterns on jumpers and t-shirts by contemporary artist Jose Parla and multi-functional jackets.
The Japanese brand also delivers superior material innovation in the form of nylon metal technology, moisture-permeable three-layer fabric, polyester material bonded and fleece material with enhanced wind resistance. Check out the full lookbook above.
