Q: Are any original In-N-Out Burger sites still in operation?
A: In 2013 the company built a true-to-life replica of its initial burger birthplace in Baldwin Park that functions as a museum. But even with the griddle and cigarette machine turned off, it’s pretty awesome.
In-N-Out’s first four buildings are no longer in existence, but store number 5, on Foothill Boulevard in Pasadena, has been offering connoisseurs the true midcentury Double-Double experience since September 18, 1952.
