A woman reportedly died on a 16-hour Qantas flight, and no one knows why

• Friends of Aleisha Tracy said they did not know the cause of her death and were not aware of any prior medical conditions, according to The Daily Mail.
• Qantas told The Daily Mail that two doctors and members of its cabin crew attempted to save Tracy during the flight, but the airline did not provide additional information about the incident to The Daily Mail aside from describing it as "tragic."
• A Qantas representative told Business Insider that a passenger received medical attention from two doctors on a flight from Los Angeles to Melbourne and was met by medical personnel after the flight landed, but the representative did not specify if the passenger died.

A 33-year-old Qantas Airways passenger died under mysterious circumstances on a flight from Los Angeles to Melbourne, Australia, that landed on Sunday, News.com.au reports. An autopsy is reportedly scheduled for Tuesday.

Friends of Aleisha Tracy said they did not know the cause of her death and were not aware of any prior medical conditions, according to The Daily Mail.

Tracy died early in the 16-hour flight, according to The Daily Mail report. Qantas told the publication two doctors and members of its cabin crew attempted to save Tracy during the flight, but the airline did not provide additional information about the incident to The Daily Mail aside from describing it as "tragic."
