If you smelled chargrilled meat in the air downtown last night, chances are the aroma was wafting from the BLOC, where local restaurants gathered for our annual Burgers Bourbon + Beer event.
None of the burgers disappointed, but intrepid attendees still cast votes in four categories: Best Patty, Tastiest Sauce, Most Creative, and an overall People’s Choice. Los Angeles‘ critics (aka food editor Garrett Snyder and digital editor Gwynedd Stuart) also picked a fave, as did our sponsor Genesis, which crowned one sandwich Genesis’ Best Burger.
Also in the house? HiHo Cheeseburger, which accepted an award for winning our annual Burger Bracket for a second year in a row.
BBB won’t be back for another year, but in the meantime here are some photos to drool over and inspo for your next L.A. burger adventures.
